Unfortunately, they cannot be used with Flexbone 2Easy. This is because most tile levelling clip systems work by lifting one or more tiles to bring adjacent tiles into the same plane.
When used with BAL Flexbone 2Easy, this lifting action can cause the mat to be pulled away from the subfloor, creating air gaps or voids beneath the mat.
These voids can compromise the bond between the mat and the substrate, potentially resulting in tile debonding, cracked tiles, or other installation failures.
To ensure a secure bond and the long-term performance of the installation, tile levelling clips should not be used with BAL Flexbone 2Easy – use a traditional method with a mallet and spirit level to ensure secure and level tiles. Always follow the recommended installation instructions.
